Just as Five Star Race Bodies is “Redefining Racing, One Turn at a Time,” the CARS Tour Pro Late Model Series does not shy away from shaking things up. Their newest announcement is no different. With the sun closing on Friday morning, it became clear that the CARS Tour in 2024 is packing its bags and heading toward new territory—the West Coast.
This pivot westward is not a solitary migration. The CARS Tour will bring together the incredible knowledge of Tim Huddleston, Kevin Harvick’s Kern Speedway owner, and the rich background of the respective CARS Tour owners—Dale Earnhardt Jr., Justin Marks, Kevin Harvick, and Jeff Burton.
“To have Kevin, Dale Jr., Justin, and Jeff bring the CARS Tour to the West Coast is what we need to continue to build a healthy series and showcase the next generation of drivers,” expressed an eager Huddleston.
Once a familiar face on the West Coast tracks, Kevin Harvick returns to his roots with this move. “We want to continue to build the series, bring attention to the drivers and the local tracks, and help usher the next generation of drivers to the top levels of racing,” commented Harvick on the added schedule for the West Coast in 2024.
The new zMAX West Series will start on March 2nd at Kevin Harvick’s Kern Raceway in Bakersfield, California, followed by additional stops in Irwindale, Stockton, Las Vegas, and Roseville.
