The zMAX CARS Tour is expanding its horizon from the heartland to the Gold Coast and kicking off the Pro Late Model Series West at Kevin Harvick’s Kern Raceway on February 17, 2024. Alongside the charisma of the CARS Tour and Kevin Harvick’s Kern Raceway owner, Tim Huddleston, this venture is putting West Coast racing on every driver’s radar.
“Adding the CARS Tour to our West Coast racing schedule will take grassroots racing to another level,” Huddleston quoted, his excitement palpable. “Combining the wealth of knowledge and experience from Kevin, Dale Jr., Justin, and Jeff would help provide a solid footing to this endeavor.”
And the strategic planning doesn’t stop there. The vision for the future of motorsports has inspired Harvick to carve out a path for the zMax CARS Tour on the West Coast. The announcement in November 2023 of Huddleston acquiring Kern County Raceway Park and renaming it to honor the seasoned NASCAR Champion was another step towards realizing this vision.
